Employee Loss

   The loss of an employee, by layoff or other cause,
  represents an impact potentially on the employee
  but more to the employer as the impact extends
  to more than some think about.  Actual costs of
  a departure can exceed the direct costs easily.
  A good read for managers and future managers.

  Side Note:  While there is no known study, there seems to be a correlation between companies
                    with high departures of high potential and companies who end "the Suggestion Box".
