    External Interviews are used to identify qualified candidates from outside of the company or even the
    corporation. Some companies allow transfers within the company even if it is a different office, city
    or state and are treated as an Internal Candidate. Other companies treat such events as an External
    Candidate to provide a closer comparison despite the advantages of knowing the people and corporate
    operation and structure.
